romeocharlie 36
Hi Oliver, hope all is progressing well with AES 2.05. Just to say, I noticed the other day that if I have the ATC window open in FSX, pressing Ctrl+Shift+W does not open the AES window. However, if I close the ATC window, I can get the AES one to open. Has anyone else reported this? I've searched the forum and installed the 2.04 update 2a. It's not a major glitch, just one I thought I'd report (and may also only have been experienced by me!) Bruce Hamilton 97
The only time I have problems opening AES is if I'm running IYP, for some reason it blocks most keystrokes from reaching MSFS.
duckbilled 30
I noticed this as well over the last couple days. I didn't realize that the issue was tied in to the atc window. Good to know until it is fixed.
Developer OPabst 2091 Posted December 11, 2009 Developer Share Posted December 11, 2009 The AES Window will always open, only when both of the following conditions are present, it could not work: 1) ATC Window is marked as "undocked" 2) ATC Window has the focus (not the FS Window) So, when the ATC window is "docked", no problem with AES Window and when the ATC Window is "undocked", you must click on the FS Window, then you can open the AES Window. But that's not a bug, that's normal, that a Keystroke don't be registered, when the Window is not the active one.
romeocharlie 36
Thanks Oliver, always good support from you. As I said, not a major issue for me, and now with an explanation, I know what to do. Rob
