  1. Although this is for a CRJ 200 (except the last video which is a CRJ 900), thought it still was pretty interesting to see a full flow in a real plane in a series of 17 videos... 1 Required equipment and documents (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAaMmwcxk7g 2 Safety check (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbQQT7Swpvg 3 Originating (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKaEvHQICDA 3.1 Originating check forgot the standby RTU check (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrfAehTjwmA 4 Prestart (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaGOqNgPR_c 5 Engine start (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wo9yGwiPKSY 6.1 Taxi first flight (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zX0Bcm5ycHE 6.2 Taxi 2 engine (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLEjnVsTAJU 6.3 Taxi single engine (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yz0zzj76eQY 7 Lights for taxiing immediately after taxi check (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwFa2Dao-B0 8 Descent (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abtmvudVHKg 9 After landing (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9HEiydW2ng 10 Shutdown 2 engine (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1rWTosAU9w 10.1 Shutdown at gate 2 engine first flight (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bkm7YgY8E7E 10.2 Shutdown single engine not first flight (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9sSlOtteGw 10.3 Shutdown extra notes (CRJ 200): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZaY4aVyO0k 11 Terminating (CRJ 900): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aN1E7eNDUFc
  2. Yeah, figured so much given you mentioned you exclusively fly VR. Even though you can get some improvements with SideQuest, the Quest 2 that I have is just not there yet. One of these days hope to to be able to fly with the Varjo and with hand controls (vs mouse). That should be a game changer.
  3. Congrats!! What headset do you use?
  4. Aerosoft delivered updated versions of the following manuals: Volume 1 Aircraft Operating Manual: https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/file/6090-volume-1-aircraft-operating-manual-part-1/ Volume 3 Tutorial Flight: https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/file/6076-volume-3-tutorial-flight/
  5. You mean 'everything' ?? Can you pls share your secrets as I cant get many of the buttons to work, even using LVARs with AAO.
  6. Housekeeping note for our growing CRJ Community members If you want to report a CRJ related issue that needs Aerosoft’s attention then please create a post here: https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/forum/1025-aerosoft-crj/. That is the official way to report defects which need to be responded to and/or fixed by Aerosoft. If you don't necessarily want feedback from Aerosoft themselves but from many other simmers and streamers, then by all means, please use the section where you are currently on: The CRJ Community ‘Club’ (you can recognize that you're on the Club section when you see the a right navigation starting with 'Overview'). Even though this Club section is located on the Aerosoft website, it is completely managed by volunteers who have no formal relation with Aerosoft at all. Here's the deal... after a dialog with Aerosoft folks prior to the launch of the CRJ, we decided to not start this community on Discord which was the original plan. Reason was simple… we want Aerosoft folks to be part of this community, something that would not happen if we would have gone off and setup a Discord server. So yes, you will see Aerosoft folks chime in and contribute to this Club section but just don’t expect ‘formal’ support. On a final note, you might have noticed that there is some overlap between the official Aerosoft forum and the Club section (e.g. liveries, videos etc.). Over time we will figure out what needs to be posted on the formal Aerosoft section and what should go in the community managed Club section. Have patience with us in the meantime. Btw, if you feel called to help us figure all this stuff out, then please send me a direct message. We have some fun plans in mind for the community, so keep checking in here! Thanks!
  7. Loving this plane as well and that seems to be consistent feedback having watched many of you streamers out there (keep up the good work). Yes, there are issues, but unless you work at Nasa that was to be expected. And don't forget that some of those are Asobo issues. I was always amazed with what the guys at WT did with the CJ4 but this plane takes it to another level. Definitely lot more fun to fly a more complex bird. Then don't forget about the many manuals and thorough documentation and also the videos from The Dude which were all completed before Aerosoft decided to launch. There was plenty of pressure but in the end was the right call. Kudos to Aerosoft.
  8. This is known issue and they're working on it. Also referenced here:
  9. Never experienced any issue with changing the trim based on what was suggested on EFB. I use the HC Alpha and standard binding seems to be working fine. Watched many streamers with the CRJ and none of them reported issues. Was it a one-off issue or is it a consistent issue? Which yoke are you using?
  10. I have been looking into using the LVARs for the CRJ (made available on this forum as well) with Axis and Ohs, but have not been having lot of success to get the Bravo wheels or even buttons to function (nor the Alpha yoke). I found an AAO template for the WT CJ4 that works great and hope that somebody will come up with something similar for the CRJ to solve the issues with the wheels, flaps, axis etc.. It's unfortunate not to be able to use the HC yoke/throttle to its fullest capabilities.
  11. Check your landing gear on your throttle/joystick.... I had the same and noticed that i had the landing gear by accident up on my Bravo. Putting it down resolved it.
  12. For those of you with the Thrustmaster TCA, check out this video by 320 Sim Pilot (a great streamer!):

  14. Don't forget to participate in the 'Release contest' around the upcoming CRJ release...

  16. Volume 1 - Aircraft Operating Manual has been updated. You can find it here:
  17. Or try this which we will update as new versions are made available: https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/category/130-latest-crj-manuals/
  18. Ah makes sense now. Yeah, real time (voice) communication during flights would be hard to pull off on a forum. Definitely open to leveraging "The Aerosoft CRJ Community" discord server for those specific situations. I.e. planning/prep on forum and comms during flights with discord voice capabilities.
  19. "Use Vatsim or multiplayer + discord?" -> One thing to keep in mind... I know discord is our typical goto place for things like this. That's where the streamers are, as well as some our favorite mod dev teams such as FBW, WT etc. However, Aerosoft has the 'luxury' of their own site as well as this forum. That's how they reach and engage with their community. And for the record, I am not in any way shape or form associated with Aerosoft. Not sure whether you noticed but there are not a lot of Aerosoft discord servers out there. In fact one of them is setup by me and the only thing it does is point back to the Aerosoft forum. So if we want to keep engaging and interacting with Aerosoft folks, we need to do it here on the forum. Not sure about you, but I definitely want them to be part of any CRJ community. So after discussing our ideas to setup a CRJ community directly with Aerosoft, they recommended we would not do that on discord but on the Club section of this forum. That's what we ended up doing and you can find it here: https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/clubs/17-the-crj-community/. It has been growing steadily since we started it a couple of days ago, and would love to see folks here join. You will recognize some of the Aerosoft staff names that have already become member of that community. It is managed by and for the community and we are getting all the support from Aerosoft. Hope to see you there!
  20. Whoever feels called to organize it, this is the place to post it: https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/forum/1076-community-flights/ And then let's all get the word out! Looks like we have nice number of liveries available then as well!
