I agree with duckbilled. The Us Airways A321 CFM and IAE variants were the whole reason why bought this addon. All of the Us operators of the A320 have been taken care of except for Us Airways (Aerosoft didn't even finish painting the Us paint properly) and the A321 has been completely neglected for both Us operators.
Sorry to complain, but that is just how I feel.
Thanks,

Have been busy with my RL job so I hope to show you a preview version today. It looks already fine from the nose to the part after the wings, the tail will follow today so give me some more days. You should be able to fly this bird the upcoming weekend.
Quite understandable, no rush.
Thanks,

Andi,
Sorry to bother, but I was wondering if there was any sort of update you could give us simmers on your Us Airways project.
Thanks,

I believe you are looking for the heritage sticker: http://www.google.co...iw=1920&bih=846
It is located on the L1 door on all Us Airways aircraft.

Just as a suggestion, could I please request N508AY for the IAE model since it was in the first batch of deliveries for Us Airways West.

If you show me a new color livery with CFM engines & A321 you´ll get it. I´ve just found IAE so far. Have been to Vienna over the weekend so US Airways will be started today. Let´s see how long it´ll take to finish all the stripes at the tail!
BTW: Air France retro has been done already so I won´t finish it. Waste of time!
Thanks! Here is a CFM pic: http://www.airliners.net/photo/US-Airways/Airbus-A321-211/1510702/L/&sid=488e1d46c93fdfbc38b572edd2c15fbb

No, we checked out visual model with the real aircraft and we think that what we got is correct. The images are in a camera that's not with me at this moment, but the moment I get my hands on if I can show images of all the flaps settings on the real aircraft.
Ok Mathijs, sounds good.

Yes, a US Airways(NC) A321 is coming from Andi (helialpin) after he finishes the AF Retro A320.
He is the best Airbus X repainter (nice & clean liveries) so it should be good.....Darryl
I really hope so, I have been waiting for someone to slap the U.S. colors on the Airbus X. I wonder if he will paint both engine types.

Just wondering, has their been an update on this issue?

Jankees,
I just wanted to let you know that your Virgin paint does have one small mistake. It is missing the American flag on the inside of the winglet: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Virgin-America/Airbus-A320-214/1658020/L/&sid=84b8e0f8ecaa3bdc53cc49551b171c60
Also it seems with the shine in FSX, your red on the plane turns pink in the right light. As you can see the Virgin tail and engines are nearly blood red: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Virgin-America/Airbus-A320-214/1657759/L/&sid=84b8e0f8ecaa3bdc53cc49551b171c60 I don't know if this can be easily fixed or not--if not don't worry too much about it.
Otherwise, a fantastic paint.
Thanks a bunch,

Sounds great Finn, makes me really hopeful for a flyable Airbus X.

I just flew a bit and I realized that no matter what FLX temp I put in, the throttles retard to 85% and NEVER reach the FLX setting on the N1% gauges. Then when you lift off and the throttles TOGA, it is actually throttling up to your actual FLX setting.

Hey scarebus,
First off, I want to thank you for making such a crucial edit (the fences were the main reason I wouldn't even use the paint). I also posted to see if you might be interested in editing the tail so that it could have the swooshes to make the paint even more realistic.
Thanks for everything,

I'm sorry, i wasn't able to fully understand what your problem was. Is the FLX N1 percentage too high set even with high temps. numbers dialed in the MCDU? Or is the given thrust alright but at 100 ft thrust changes to your so called "rocket situation"?
I'm a bit confused, because in my situation, the FLX temps. are alright but after take-off thrust is set somehow the A/THRST decreases slowly and i almost everytime need the whole RWY for takeoff, though i do never experienced this "rocket situation"
I'm sorry. I am trying to say everything seems fine (I use about 40 degrees derate = about 85 N1) and it does seem to decrease slowly as you mentioned. However, soon as I am off the ground the aircraft seems to TOGA, but still indicates that it is at the FLX setting.
-
I don't think flx is modeled unfortunately.
Flex is part of the auto throttle and derates the engines on takeoff. It is mentioned in the manual.
-
Am I the only one experiencing this issue? Or if there may be something I'm doing wrong? If someone could please give me any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated because this problem is driving me up the wall.
-
No--Jan Kees Blom is the author, but I thought I would help out a fellow simmer in need.

Can't wait for one of these beauties to be painted.

+1 on the Virgin.
Thanks.

Dear Aerosoft team,
I wasn't for sure if this issue was addressed or not, but for some reason no matter what I seem to do the engines to go to TOGA by themselves when using FLX on takeoff. I never touch the throttles as soon as FLX shows up on the gauges, I have even used the default and user programmed FLX temps--either seem to have no effect.
NORMAL SITUATION:
So on takeoff, everything is normal until about 100ft and then the aircraft surges in power. I have noticed that even when programming in the FLX temps, gauges read something like: FLX 96.5%
However, on the takeoff roll the aircraft performing at a derated percentage and then when I take to the air and it suddenly becomes a rocket.
I hope I have been helpful in my explanation.
Thanks a bunch,
Us 75
P.S. This happened before the 1.10a update and after.

Yeah...I was a bit disappointed in the lack of attention from Aerosoft on the Us livery. It seems that the all the other euro liveries were much more detailed.
Hopefully someone will paint these beauties from the largest operator of the the Airbus A32x series--It would be GREATLY appreciated since these painters are devoting their free time for the rest of us to enjoy.
