Hi,
I use WideView (a great product). I've just installed Munich airport but I'm having problems with the ground vehicles being generated on the clients independently. They suddenly appear at the edge of a screen while not having been on the adjacent screen. It's very disconcerting. Is there a way of removing all ground vehicles from the airport

There appears to be a conflict between the airport scenery and FS Global 2008. When I taxi along taxiway C, heading towards runway 36L, at a point near C3 suddenly the aircraft becomes airborne (for example the default Cessna 172 is at around 1000ft and 100kts). By experimenting with my scenery this problem only seems to occur when FS Global 2008 is active. When it is deactivated in the scenery library I have never had the problem.

I have just downloaded and installed Amsterdam Schiphol for FSX. I tried to taxi my PMDG 744 from gate E20 to RW36L however when I am taxiing along taxiway C as I reach taxiway C3 I suddenly become airborne at an altitude of around 540ft. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me?

I have just bought GAP3 and the airports are great (much better than the default) however there is a problem with the AESLite dynamic ground vehicles. I use Wideview and Widetraffic and need to disable the GAP3 vehicles as when moving from one screen to another they disappear or appear out of nowhere. How can I disable the GAP3 vehicles?

Thanks for your reply. I have set all the traffic sliders to 0 but I'm still getting ground vehicles. I am thinking of buying a copy of "Widetraffic" and this requires that only the server produces ground vehicles. All traffic settings on the clients ashould be 0. I have done this but I'm still getting ground vehicles on the clients. Even when a client is the only PC switched on they are still being produced. I have just been parked at Mega Airport Madrid and have this problem.

I have several MegaAirports and would like to disable all the ground vehicles (and possibly the AI aircraft. Is it possible to do this?

Not a big problem but puzzling. I was flying the PMDG 747 into Barajas, Madrid and I had set up the weather so that the wind was coming from 180' as I wanted to land on runway 18L/R. ATC instructed me to land on runway 15 and I was unable to change ATC's mind. As far as I can make out runway 15 has no ILS, VOR or PAPI making landing the 747 difficult. When I landed I requested a taxi to a gate and was allocated gate 53 via K7 KA KC A G5 M G4 I M C4 and after about 15 minutes finally arrived at gate 53 which was in the middle of nowhere. Is there a way that I can ensure that I am not allocated runway 15 and that I am allocated a gate at a terminal?

Just a note to confirm the success of your solution (I know that you know it works). I've been flying around the GAF2 area for a couple of hours without a problem. Thanks again.

Thanks for the advice. I don't know how to just disable the 2 files so I copied them to a safe place then deleted them from the folder. I'll try flying in the area again and see what happens.

disable in the GAF2/scenery folder the 2 ship traffic files (...cargo.bgl ...custom.bgl) and no crashes should happen any more. It is a problem of this addon which often occurs with Vista.I can not find the German Thread where this Problem was discussed, and another files were offered

I know that GAF2 is the problem because I only get the error if 1) GAF2 is enabled in the scenery library and 2) I am flying over the region that GAF2 covers. If I disable GAF2 in the scenery library the error never occurs and it never occurs if I am flying away from the GAF2 area. I have built a cockpit with 5 networked PCs and the error is the same on all 5 PCs. I have tried various combinations such as enabling GAF2 in the scenery library on 2 PCs and disabling it on the other 3. Then the error only happens on the 2 PCs with GAF2 enabled and when I am flying over the region. I have GAF1, GAF3 and GAF9 installed without any problems. I also have the first 3 VFR Germany regions. I am using FSX with 32bit Vista. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I'm sorry for causing you to waste time with my problem. I'm stupid. I usually read the whole manual (honestly) but I was so eager to use the airport that I rushed things. I'll know better next time.
