  1. Hi there, I thought I'd check in regarding this issue, since I am still experiencing it - 8 months later and, as it turns out, after switching to a brand new machine and re-installing everything. :-) Any ideas or updates? Thanks for any info. - Bob
  2. Thanks for the reply Otto, and apologies for my late response. As it turns out, just prior to your reply I managed to get things working by deleting every reference to the bogus "rober" account from the registry. A tedious process, but it solved the issue. Thanks for sharing the utility. It might come in handy later. Cheers. - Bob
  3. Hi there, I am seeking a solution to the following... I have been trying to install the latest Aerosoft Airbus A318-320 bundle on my Prepar3D Windows 10 machine. The trouble is that it appears the installer got ahold of the name of an invalid account (a previous OneDrive account, C:\users\robert, which has since been deleted) and insists on installing the config files, Updater and LiveryInstaller there, eg. Aerosoft Updater C:\Users\rober\Documents\Aerosoft\ASUpdater This of course yields an error when an attempt is made to run those utilities since the location is an invalid user location. My valid account is C:\Users\bob, and is the only user account on my machine. I haven't been able to find a way to change "C:\Users\rober" to "C:\Users\bob" during the Airbus install. It appears that the user has no control over this for the config files, Updater and Livery Installer. Only the location of the main Airbus folder can be changed. The fact that the installer remembers the previous install paths is touted as a convenience, but in this case, it is a pain in the ***. Is there a way to "refresh" the installer so that it forgets about the prior incorrect paths and allows the selection of new paths? Any idea where these prior paths are stored or where the installer picks the installation paths up from? I appreciate any help.
  4. Oh, and in case you need them, here are the flight plans (attached) - the Prepar3D one and the Aerosoft CRJ one. Cheers. - Bob InCruiseFlight_AdgIssue_FltPlans.zip
  5. Sure, as requested (attached). Please let me know if I can provide any more info. - Bob InCruiseFlight_AdgIssue.zip
  6. Hi Hans, I recreated the flight from scratch using version 2.2.0.1 of the CRJ and saved the flight during cruise. Unfortunately, the issue still occurs - the ADG deploys itself when this flight file is loaded. Can you suggest anything else to try? Any advice appreciated. Thanks. - Bob
  7. Indeed it is Hans! I didn't think of that. I will retry the flight, creating it from scratch, and see if the issue still occurs. Thanks for the suggestion!
  8. Hi, I've observed that every time I load a flight in progress with the CRJ, the ADG (air driven generator / ram air turbine) is deployed. It doesn't prevent the resumption of the flight (after correcting a few minor settings in the cockpit that don't get restored) but it does result in the annoying whine of the ADG for the remainder of the flight. As expected, there is no way to store the ADG in-flight since this can only be done on the ground. I am using version 2.2.0.1 of the CRJ Professional with Prepar3D v4.5. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on how to prevent this from happing when loading a flight? Thanks for any advice. - Bob
