!! Windows 7 no longer supported !!

As Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 7 on Jan 20th we will be unable to test any of our
products on that platform. It may work, or it may not, but no guarantees from our side.

  1. Also keep in mind that if Windows is simply checking for new updates, which it often does upon system restart, it will absolutely crush your system resources. I try to reboot as infrequently as possible for that very reason. I've found that it can really bog down the system for the first 15-30 minutes after reboot if Windows is checking for updates. Did you happen to check Task Manager to see what was using all that memory?
  2. Did these get uploaded? They look really nice but I don't see them in the downloads section.
  3. Great replies to my aircraft state questions (upvotes given). I do see there is variation in the power state of the aircraft but pretty much if it's not first flight of the day, the aircraft is at some state of being "alive." And @Mathijs Kok...great service there. I like how you, Hans, etc., always at least consider requests for enhancements...unless of course they're absurd requests.
  4. This could be a great thread. I have one question: when you arrive at the aircraft, is it always "cold and dark?" I know with other sims, there are intermediate panel states like long turn, short turn, etc. I could see it being completely black for first flight of the day, but I would expect some power/setup already done for successive flights. EDIT: what I'm getting at...I'd like to see the devs implement the ability to save panel states so we can have a more realistic setup.
