mudhendriver 0 Posted February 2, 2015 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Hello Been running with AES for some time in FSX (SP1/run as administrator etc). No problems until I installed Airbus X a couple days ago. Now when I startup FSX and am parked at an AES activated airport, I get the jetways/vehicles and voice from ground crew, but I am unable to bring up AES dialogue box/menu anymore. I tried ctrl+shift+w...I tried to go to vistamare and assign F10 etc...but in vistamare, AES function is not showing at all. It seems that the Function keys don't work (I don't have FLock on my keyboard either). I downloaded latest version of AES v2.7 (ran as administrator) over top of existing AES...still no change. Also, I run FSX in windowed mode because I have 2 monitors... Thoughts? Thanks Rich Perry Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Developer OPabst 2091 Posted February 2, 2015 Developer Share Posted February 2, 2015 Can you confirm, that you only have FSX SP1 installed? In this case the Vistamare menu to set the key Assignment should not work, as only SP2 or Accpack is supported. Please try to Assign F11, F10 is not the best option as used by the FS itself. Please also check, if the there is a log file in the FSX\Vistamare Folder, which maybe give more infos. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When I attempt to assign F11...I can do it in vistamare but the function for AES is not showing...only vista core function...I will try and get a log file to you later....off to work now. Thanks! I reinstalled vistamare from this website yesterday...I tried to run AES at FSDT KORD...which is activated in the aes/config...I loaded the Airbus X 319...latest version...I think 1.5...like I said, AES jetways work fine....ground crew talks etc...I just can't access the AES dialogue menu at all. mudhendriver 0 Posted February 4, 2015 Author Share Posted February 4, 2015 Fixed: This is what worked for me: I completely uninstalled (deleted) all AES, vistamare subdirectory in FSX root, deleted any reference to vistamare in FSX.cfg (trusted section), ran registry fixer, rebooted computer, loaded FSX, exited FSX, then I reinstalled latest version of AES (2.37), loaded FSX....allowed the vistamare module to build (selected yes)...exited FSX, rebooted computer... Finally fired FSX up again...selected Airbus X 319 at FSDT KFDW...selected vistamare from the addon list...it showed ctrl+shift+w...I engaged parking brake..got the standard jetway alarms and ground crew talk....pressed ctrl+shift+w and voila...the dialogue box appeared....used F10 to hide it...then I went to FSUIPC and married ctr+shift+w to a button on my throttle...
