Carenado Beech D18S VH-CLF Connellan Airways

This folder contains a repaint for the Beech D18S by Carenado, in the colors of Connellan Airways VH-CLF. Built in 1945 as C-45F 44-87209, this aircraft was never delivered to the air force, but went to Philippine Airways as PI-C80 instead. In 1948 it went to Hong Kong as VR-HED and then to the UK as G-ALJJ. It arrived in Australia in 1952, becoming VH-KFD and was sold to Eddie Connellan in 1955./
It was reregistered as VH-CLF in 1959. The aircraft was retired in 1965, and was burnt in Alice Springs for fire practice in 1974.  Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the white textures supplied by Carenado.
