SpeedbirdCanada 0
Question: How does AES determine the position of the fuel truck? (ie by wing span set in aircraft.CFG) I have concorde's wingspan set at 84.83 feet in the CFG file. The fuel truck initially drives up under the left wing but then parks further away. Secondly, in the next release would it be possible to allow the belt loader to raise higher? How on earth did they unload the baggage compartment in the real concorde? Seems really high up there lol. Thanks. After reading the preview post, I suppose both of my issues here may be addressed so I think we can disregard this post. Thanks.
pschlute 3
The belt loader height can be changed in the AES configuration application.
SpeedbirdCanada 0
Yes but, once you select a certain height it switches from belt loader to container lift. Additionally, if you select a height high enough (ie Concorde's rear hold) even the container lift won't reach the doorway (quite funny the operator keeps elevating to the point where he's floating over his seat lol. Try it - you'll see what I mean
nickac1092 8
That height is 1.95. This is the max height of the belt loader (although I wish it could go a bit higher....) As seen in the pic below on a Project Airbus A321-212.
