HAVIK 0
Hi there, For one or another obscure reason i cannot configure the new PMDG737 NGX with AES. When I start AES help to configure a new aircraft on an AES compatible airport, nothing happens... I have the latest version of AES.And up to now all airplanes and airports do work without any problem. I have a W7pro and i9 rig (with all whistle and bells) on FSX Accelrtn. Oh, yes I do have Norton antivirus on. Any idea how I can resolve my problem? Thx a lot in advance! Hans
SamZ 13
the pmdg aircraft.cfgs are installed as read only, its a noted bug on their forum. try turning read only off in the file properties and it should work then.
HAVIK 0
Thx Sam, I cleared the aircraft.cfg files from their "read only" tags (in properties), but no luck... any idea? thx again! Hans
Bruce Hamilton 97
I would just copy the intelliscene file from the default 737 over to the NGX, should be pretty close.
HAVIK 0
Sorry Bruce, did that one too, no luck. It seems that my AESHELP 2 .12 just doesn't recognise the PMDG737NGX. Every other aspect works perfectly, just AES doesn't... Thx for your suggestions, Hans Brugge,Belgium
HAVIK 0
Hi Bruce & Sam (and other aviators) Got the solution; I re-downloaded and re-installed the AESHELP 2.12 and "voila" it works flawlessly Probably it didn't recognice the original .cfg aircraft file (because of the "read only" bug) see you around in the virtual skies!
