well i use the saitek pro flight yoke, and whit the set up i set the default comand to a button as it is a button as reverse on this device so when idle pres the button and it would start reverse. if you wanted it to be a part of the axis i see the problem....
yeah... well thanks maan! so how do I configure the button?
-
ok first you have to go to the page i showed and find the post: Posted 30 July 2011 - 07:54 PM then get the zip file: throttles airbus X.zip
then unzip it. then you should only use the file inside the folder: 1 throttle leaver
Then copy: AirbusX_Thr1.lua and insert it to your Modules folder inside your FSX folder.
Then start FSX and follow the video.
OMYYYGOOOD!!!!!!! GOOOD FREEEAKING BLESS YOU MANNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WORKEDD! !! thankss y'all! but the bad thing is that I cant set the reversers when i put Send to FSX as a normal axis... tell me that im wrong
-
?? disappear in the default FSX controls when FSUIPC is instaled sounds wired. but of cause if it was set both places for throttle i mean in FSX and FSUIPC its not a good thing at all.
Did you try my post,from Posted 30 July 2011 - 07:54 PM: http://forum.aerosof...pt/page__st__80
and use the file for only 1 throttle leaver to control the engines.
Hey, thanks... but i didnt understand where to put those commands... where is the Airbusx throttle lua?
-
Wait a minute... You said the throttle was working with the default plane. How come do i not see you throttle being assigned to the throttle axis in the standard.xml. What are you using to assign your throttle?
Yeah, when I use FSUIPC the thottle axis in FSX controls disappear, so FSUIPC is controlling the thottle, but when I assign the axis in FSX controls I dont know if FSUIPC still controlling the throttle, but it works with other airplanes, the prob its just with Airbus X, I uninstalled FSUIPC to see what happens but the same. Do you have any ideas?
-
Well man, thank you... it doesn't work. Im tired of this, maybe a clean install of everything again but its not fair... us the customers have to fix the problems, but Aerosoft dont respond. maybe is my system, maybe not because everything works perfect with ALL my other aircraft default and payware...they say that Airbus X works without FSUIPC ha ha ha, this started just after I registered my FSUIPC, they dont know their own products. ... and yeah this is for the administrator: Close this topic please
-
I had this problem before i think i reinstalled windows or uninstalled some windows update ...BTW when you move the throttle forward, do you here the usual thrittle detend sound? oh and can you try uninstalling the device and its drivers? if you do not know how to do that, I will post a guide for you. I think uninstalling and reinstalling device driver should fix it.
Regards,
Joshua Che.
Thank you! will be waiting

Oh and I had the problem before... around January, the problem was the saitek x52 rudder, I unplugged them and it worked (i plugged them back because obviously i want to fly with it ) and it worked (I dont know how) by that time I didn't have FSUIPC registered but the thing is, the reverser works!!!
-
RzAxis is the rudder! Royce, There are a few user who reported the saitek X52 throttle axis can not be detected even in other simulators. Does your throttle work with the default 737 or 747?
Regards,
Joshua Che.
Hello, yes, it works with the others aircraft, default 737-747 and the payware... its just with AirbusX, i tried unplugging the pedals but nothing its the same, i move the throttle and it goes back to idle... I have AirbusX since a year ago... i used it before and no problems, so i had to uninstall it and when installed again i got this
-
If you see the saitek x52 throttle quadrant tha slider is the one under the big blue button with a letter E on it, its like the spoilers in a F/A 18
-
Here.
In FSX controls, there isn't an axis selected for throttle, i think that the throttle is working only with FSUIPC, I also tried the FSUIPC thing but no results.
-
Ok, thanks well I did but now the throttle move with Z axis but it goes back to idle like in less than 1 second...
-
Download this AS_Fadec. For me, once i downloaded the file and replace my AS_FADEC and it worked. However, if it did not work, post your log files there http://forum.aerosof...ease-only-here/ and be more polite.
Regards,
Joshua Che.
Thank you, can you please tell me where the file is supposed to be?

CANT USE AIRBUS X! BECAUSE OF THE THROTTLE PROBLEM!
Tried EVERYTHING! Aerosoft Launcher, FSX.cfg, messages to the ''Aerosoft Support'' and NOTHING!
First Aerosoft Launcher server DOES NOT WORK! And the joystick tool does not detect the axes. Just X and Y those axes are for the joke, not for the throttle.
Specs:
Windows 7 64bits
FSX Acceleration
Saitek x52
Airbus X v.122
FSUIPC registered
Now ask me if you want more information, just tell me how to fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I have the throttle issue, the throttle quadrant doesn't move.
This is because having two connected controls (Saitek x52 Joystick and Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals) makes that the Airbus X exchange the FSX controls and axes . In my case: I have a Saitek x52 Joystick with the throttle quadrant and Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals. When disconnecting the Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals everything works fine but the problem is when I have the two controllers connected, when i connect the pedals the throttle quadrant is useless. The axes are changed when you choose the Airbus X. (The problem doesn't happen when I choose another plane like Captain Sim 757) so when I push the right rudder the throttle gets up and when i push the left it gets down, it's crazy... It's not FSUIPC problem or FSX problem and it's NOT necessary uninstall Flight Sim X.
But the thing is how to make it work with both controls connected... any help? for those who uses Saitek.
Aerosoft, guys please is enough of this.
-
please give us a solution
-
Yeah, most of the other planes (pmdg, wilco, airsimmer etc) will go to the limit, with this plane it's like flying an overloaded plane. I want to hear that roar when i push the throtle to the limit.
i cant climb to FL370

"calm down"
You created nothing. You are ONE of 50 saying the same thing. You can go whine elsewhere sometimes or create your own Airbus. Cheers buddy.
Man I said sorry... you understand English bro so once again calm down..
Im ONE of 50 saying the same thing... oh man... 9 of 10 users say the same.
Count how many users have the airbus X? see? The quantity is so large.

You only really need to use the APPR button. LOC is there for airports that don't have a glideslope facility.
What I havent seen mentioned in your posts is the use of AP2. Once the glideslope has been captured you need to press AP2 and you will see Dual appear on the PFD.
So, first of all you press APPR and when the glideslope is active press AP2 so that the autopilot is controlling both pitch and heading.
Without dual mode the airbus will struggle.
Chris
Thats correct
AND you guys have to set your altitude to 100ft then click the APPR button under the VS this is when you are on glideslope (On final)with the ILS frequency and course and DH or MDA set in the FMGS

It was only an idea...
Yankeeij ... i think that i create a big discussion here the last week... im sorry
But you have to calm down sometimes...

...that now I know the ins and outs of this Airbus X, I am longing more and more for an advanced version...
There. I've said it. Not because of SIDS and STARS and wingflex (I couldn't care less!), but there are just too many buttons and options (MCDU!) inop, and the more I fly this plane, the more that hurts.
That doesn't mean I don't love this Airbus X anymore: I sure do and I will be flying it for quite some time (it's the only big plane I fly right now), but now I know the basics (which is 'all' there is) I just want more!!! And it wouldn't surprise me if the target group (which, I know, isn't us here on the forum) would want more too after getting to know the basics!
So, Aerosoft, please continue to fix this bird and when you are done, take a weekend off, have a party, go nuts, and then come back on monday (any monday in the future will do) and decide if you want to go the extra mile (or miles) and make this one complete.
I know how you feel...

But I find a temporally solution
The Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) for Microsoft® Flight Simulator FSX
- You no longer need to dig for charts as all the charts are calculated and rendered based on the current route setup
- The charts are automatically shown up as per the demand of the actual flight profile
This works such a FMS with SIDs and STARs, you can create the Flight Plan in a FSX format and modify it in flight.... But anyways... we need the SID and STAR option...
You can download it from here: http://www.aivlasoft.com/download/index.html and the manual too...
Its very good... you have a fully functional 30 days trial... I hope that aerosoft fix this

yes, in-flight and there is no need to load the flightplan again through the FSX menu....
so i start my FSX...
Pick up Airbus X
Load the route in EFB
and it loads automatically to the FMGS?

I'm done here Raul...I feel like I'm arguing with my dog or something. I hope you have a nice day.
If you really done here... definitely go and not go around giving fewer points on the topic ...

Then you enter the new ILS frequency in the NAV/RAD page.... and Enter the wapoints into the flight plan. If you think this will take too long, then try a flightplanner such as this http://www.aivlasoft...ucts/index.html that will enter a revised flightplan directly into the FMGS in seconds...... (with load to GarminGPS, enabled in EFB options)
As yankeesji has just said, a little research goes a long way......usually find soultions
Can I change the plan into the Airbus X FMGS?? with this program in flight or... it export information/route to the FMGS?
