  1. I've had CBS since is came out. I've been trying and writing on this forum for info as to how to get force feedback working with my Thrustmaster RGT FFB Clutch Wheel. No satisfactory response from this forum or Aerosoft or TML. Well now there is one.

    As background, here's what the features sheet for CBS says on Aerosoft.com:

    I don't mind that there is no force feedback. I do mind that it was advertised as being there and no one who could, would answer my question.

  2. I just purchased the Thrustmaster RGT Clutch Force Feedback wheel. All works fine except there's no force feedback. I've asked for help on the TML support forum but as of now no one replied. I emailed Shaun and he responded quickly but I cannot find the link to the developers forum he suggested I go to. Can anyone here help? Thanks.

  3. I can save and reload during Free Play but only when it's a run without passengers - in other words no timetable. But when I click on the timetable and start a timetable run (e.g. Circle Line to UN) every time I save and reload everything is lost except the location of the bus. If the bus was at 8rd Avenue with 5 passengers and I save it, when I reload the bus is at 8rd Avenue, but the bus is empty and there are no more active bus stops for picking up additional passengers. All passengers are gone, all bus stop pickups are gone for the remainder of the run.

    My question: is it possible to save a Free Play Game on a timetable run with passengers and pick up locations??? In other words, can you stop and restart a Free Play timetable run during the course of the run or must you go from start to finish with no opportunity to save.

    Is my question not clear or is there no one who can answer the question? 34 views and no one has a suggestion. IS IT POSSIBLE TO SAVE A FREE PLAY GAME WITH THE PASSENGERS AND STOPS OR, AS I'VE FOUND, WHEN YOU SAVE YOU LOSE THE PASSENGERS AND THE LIGHTED STOPS. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. Thanks, Barry

  5. Wow, late reply... But I'll reply anyway, in case you haven't figured it out yet..

    Actually, you edit Import\Game\game\bus.txt

    Then you go into the vehicle editor (ctrl-N at main menu), and import string table, and select bus.txt

    I'm new to driving simulators - I've been train simming for several years. I have a Logitech MOMO Force Feedback wheel (realize this is an economy model). I changed the PARM setting in the bus.txt from .005 to either .035 or .050. I've tried this and haven't seen an improvment - acutally things just get worse - the wheels travel their full distance either right or left as soon as the steering wheel engages. I tried your suggestion of first changing the PARM setting in the bus.txt file, then going to the main menu, hitting CTRL-N, opening the vehicle editor, clicking on import string table, and selecting the bus.txt. and things just seem to get worse - the wheels turn their full arc left or right as soon as the steering wheel engages right or left. Also, could you tell me why just changing the PARM in the bus.txt and saving it isn't enough. Obviously, I don't have clue as to how to use the vehicle editor.

    Another question - when programming the steering wheel, if the keyboard assignments for left and right turn are "left arrow" and "right arrow", when configuring the wheel do you use keystrokes "left arrow push" and "right arrow push" or do you use the commands "left arrow push"/left arrow release" and "right arrow push"/"right arrow release"? I tried both ways and don't see a difference - the wheel is still worse than the keyboard. Is there a way to achieve smooth wheel turning through the entire steering arc? As for the accelerator and brake pedals I've used the command format and it seems to work well. The paddle shifters (for turn signals) and the 6 buttons are no problem with single keystrokes for the assigned actions.

    Final request - with the steering wheel, what setting do you use for the axis properties (sensitivity, dead zone, range)?

  6. OK, well I pulled out my old MOMO FF wheel (another Logitech) and it does seem to work but was still pretty darn tough to get configured. It took a lot of quick click/hit the gas or brake because it wanted to default all controls to steering. What I am noticing is this wheel probably has a turning radius of ~100 so maybe if we go down really low on the G25 that will work.

    I already had the MOMO lying around and it seems to work so I just went ahead and purchased, I will just switch wheels out for different sims.
