peter197 32
Hello,I was wondering whether like the Aerosoft F-14 a scenario setup could be made?So say you're at RAF Binbrook and you have a tu-95 coming from the North Sea, and you have a GCI to take you up there. Is this possible?Peter
wingman5 149
Hi Peter Good idea , It is eminently possible, but it is not something I know how to do, that's the realm of another section of the FS community , the mission builders, so maybe one of them might like to give it a go ? :0) Cheers Dave R
peter197 32
I noticed that John Cagle was part of your team in making the Lightning, and he spearheaded the developement of the F-14X. The F-14X had the thing I had in mind, the F-14 Scenarios, which is built into the aircraft and thinks where it is relative to the carrier, setting the bombers to fly at the aircraft. Say now instead it thinks which air bases the aircraft is near to, and sets bombers from the North Sea.The F-14X scenarios is basically what I mean, you get GCI from the carrier, so why not from an airbase?Perhaps you should ask him since that is the idea I was considering. Thanks,Peter
wingman5 149
Alas , my "team" consists of .... well me ! .... John did do the flight dynamics for the Lightning ( I could never have got it anywhere nearly as good ), but he is a very busy man and anyway I don't think those scenarios were his own work.If someone intends to create a scenario I'm happy to assist , but it is not something I intend instigating, sorry. peter197 32
The closest I have right now is using a tps file, but of course these aircraft do not react to your movements unfortunately.Peter
