Route not showing on ND

Hey!

I have updated to windows 10 & after a while away from FSX I have noticed I now have issues with my Airbus ND where nothing is showing in terms of the route line & so on.

I have reinstalled Airbus x Extended but still have the issue. Does anyone have any ideas how this can be fixed?

So the display is completely blank? If so, reinstalling simconnect might solve this issue

Hi Mopperle

Thanks for the reply; the display is not completely blank. I am getting the heading & yellow plane with the other default items on display. I just do not get a visual of the route line along with inputed waypoints and so on when I set up the MCDU for flight. I shall try reinstalling 'Simconnect' in the mean time.

No, in that case SimConnect clearly works.

Can you send a screenshot showing your PFD, ND and EFIS please?

Hi Tom I have attached screenshots for you on this post; as you can see the MCDU is programmed and no route is showing on the ND. I have also now noticed the error message when selecting an airbus plane which looks like could be the issue?

Any ideas?

I had this same error/glitch.

Run as admin, worked like a charm.

Could be maybe because the admin elevation permissions has changed in Windows 10.

EDIT: Looking at the error message again, "Log file could not be generated" probably indicates not having the permissions to write files, which probably points to the reason why it only worked when FSX was ran in admin.
