Bill721 4
When I change from turn around, taxi, or Take-off state the radio freq change. Is there a way to keep this from happening? I set up for flight plans and radios during taxi or turn-around. When I change state I loose the settings Thanks,Bill.
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted August 10, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 10, 2015 The predefined states are just there to sort of jump into a certain situation. They are not meant to jump from one situation into another and keeping previous information. So I am afraid there is not fix for your problem. Why do you change the states manually anyway? Bill721 4
Hi Tom, I guess I do it to simulate arriving, reloading fuel, bags and people, and then taxi and take off sequences without having to use the detailed checklist every time. Is that the wrong way to do it? If I'm on Vatsim and I have the radios set for communications when I change states I have to reset them again each change. ThanksBill
Deputy Sheriffs Hanse 216 Posted August 14, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 14, 2015 Hi Bill, this is not the intention when we created those states e. g. jumping on one flight from one state to another. The intention was to "shorten" the time for a new flight p. e. a user wants to be be in the air as soon as possible and to avoid all the previous procedures...... then he just uses the TO state......Regards,Rolf
