Written to the developers of the EGHI software to ask if I can put a prefix letter in front of the file, thinking about it could I have done this with Heathrow? Guest Posted June 15, 2015 Share Posted June 15, 2015 Hello Kalibra, our Heathrow folders in the Custom Scenery Folder you can rename as you want. The same is for our Heathrow static aircraft folder. In most cases you can rename other Airports Folders too. But important is the entry order in the scenery_packs.ini file. This is the only file, X-Plane 10 reads to know about the scenery order. This ini file you can edit with a small editor (not word). And the order of the entries ins this ini file you can change with cut and paste. So you can rename the folders in the Custom Scenery Folder. Than start X-Plane 10 and quit it with the menu. So X-Plane 10 writes the scenery_packs.ini with the new foldernames. Than edit the scenery_packs.ini file and move (with cut and paste) the Airports and static entries in the correct order. For Heathrow the scenery_packs.ini shall be look like this: ... SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/_DefaultStreets London-Heathrow/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/_StaticAirplanes London-Heathrow/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Aerosoft - EGLL Airport London-Heathrow/ SCENERY_PACK_DISABLED Custom Scenery/Aerosoft - EGLL Heathrow/ ... Or with other Foldernames for example like this: ... SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/A_DefaultStreets London-Heathrow/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/B_StaticAirplanes London-Heathrow/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/C_Aerosoft - EGLL Airport London-Heathrow/ SCENERY_PACK_DISABLED Custom Scenery/Aerosoft - EGLL Heathrow/ ... The old standard Heathrow i have disabled so that it is no longer visible.
