Airbus a320/321 texture anomaly

Recommended Posts

Hello..

This is essentially my first post in any forum. I hope this subject belongs to the section I'm putting it in.

I recently purchased the Aerosoft Airbus A320/321 product and haven't had the pleasure of viewing its beauty (at least for the textures that I downloaded from this website)

There seems to be some anomaly. I've installed the textures as per the readme file at least a couple of times.

I'm attaching a screenshot. Pay attention to the various doors and nose wheel.

On the other hand the cockpit view is also dark (pitch black).

Any help on this front is much appreciated!

P.S I don't know if you guys are able to see the attachment. Let me know if you don't

GRAPHICS]

HIGHMEMFIX=1

please search in this area.

i have posted a similar issue.

To make this post a bit more complete:

Put the line HIGMEMFIX=1 in the section [GRAPHICS] of your fsc.cfg which can be found here: C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\

If that doesn't help, your repaint is either broken, not compatibel or not correct installed

Actually, the issue is most likely to be the fallback in the texture.cfg not pointing at the right folder.

Open up the file and make sure that the cfg points at the correct fallback folder for your Airbus installation

(For example, my fallback folders are the following):

fallback.1=..\..\Aerosoft Airbus A320_A321 Base\Texture_Fallback_VC
fallback.2=..\..\Aerosoft Airbus A320_A321 Base\Texture_Fallback_A320
(And when I originally downloaded a new livery, the fallback in its texture.cfg file said the following):
fallback.1=..\..\Aerosoft Airbus X Extended Base\Texture_Fallback_VC
fallback.2=..\..\Aerosoft Airbus X Extended Base\Texture_FallBack_A320
(So I changed it accordingly because I was getting similar texture issues)
