Bus and Cable Car Simulator- PROBLEM- HELP

Recommended Posts

Hello. I just bought Bus and Cable Car Simulator and I already have a problem. After about a half hour or so the game just says launcher stopped working and I have to close the program. I've been running it as admin and even changed the install directory. I'm not sure what to do. I am running Windows 8 on a desktop computer. Thanks.

Hello,

please attach a screenshot of the situation when the error occurs and if possibly copy the error message and paste it in here.

Hello,

I didn't get a screen shot yet but the game just freezes then pops up with "Launcher has stopped working and has to close the program. Windows will notify you if there is a solution." Then I am forced to close the program.

Hello,

when this happens please open the "eventvwr.exe" from windows and navigate to "Windows-Protocols"->"Application Logs(or something like this)" and look for the Error message in there. Copying this is very much appreciated.

Hey Picadilly,

could you just do what i wrote above?

"when this happens please open the "eventvwr.exe" from windows and navigate to "Windows-Protocols"->"Application Logs(or something like this)" and look for the Error message in there. Copying this is very much appreciated."

This will lead us to the error i think! ;)

Okay the error indicated that part of the sim can't be loaded. We suggest you try this:

1) remove the product using the Windows Software control panel (do not manually delete the program files)
2) do a disk check (right click on the drive, select properties, select tools, select check now)
3) reboot your computer
4) log in with administrative rights
5) disable the anti-virus software temporary
6) install the product
7) enable the anti-virus software
8) defragment your disk (NOT if you are using a SSD)
