Crazy flight plans

Recommended Posts

I'm not having this problem here. My problem is: my PFPX is computing "low flight levels" in high airways... like... descend from FL340 to FL240 and then climb to FL350.

My database is 1504 and my PFPX Version is 1.20.1!

Hi Renato,

Please open your own topic for your totally unrelated problem. Hijacking another topic only leads to confusion, slowing things down and actually is bad style.

EDIT: just saw your other post. You should have mentioned it here :-)

The problem solved after re install same update version 1.20.1 over previous one

but I received a solution from FlightSimSoft support by mail may be helpful

The problem could be related to an error on the route cache.

Can you try if the following fix works for you:
- Close PFPX
- Navigate to \\Documents\PFPX Data\Navdata
- Create a file called 'temp.nav'
- Launch PFPX
- The route/navdata cache should now be updated, as a new file has been detected
- Check, if the route finder works again

More crazy flightplans.

I have tried the "fix" above but it doesn't work. Also tried reinstalling etc etc.

PFPX has been unusable for me since for a long time now.

I followed the advice of srcooke on here and now all is well.

It seems as if my issue was caused by not deleting the PFPX Data folder before reinstallation. Perfectly clean install required.

This is how the flightplan now looks, with wind optimisation.

I figured id try and post here instead of starting another topic that may be covered. I am trying to find out how to fix the routes once Navdata pro updates. If anyone has a step by step please help me out. Thanks.

Hi olschelsea8, please open your own topic with your question. I don't see how your question is related to the problem being discussed in this topic.
