Hi guys,

I have my Airbus X Extended A320 configured to use with two monitors, showing on my second monitor as pop up PDF ND ECAM1 and ECAM2.

It works fine with this configuration on the panel.cfg

[Window06]
size_mm=750,400
window_size=1
position=8
Background_color=0,0,0
VISIBLE=0
ident=PFD

gauge00=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus X Extended Base/Panel_Fallback/Displays!PFD, 0,20,340,340
gauge01=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus X Extended Base/Panel_Fallback/ND/AB_ND_GDI!AB_ND_Gauge, 390,20,340,340

[Window07]
BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0
size_mm=340, 340
position=0
visible=1
ident=oac_ecam1

gauge00=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus X Extended Base/Panel_Fallback/AB_ECAMU!ECAM_Upper,0,0,340,340

[Window08]
BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0
size_mm=340, 340
position=0
visible=1
ident=oac_ecam2

gauge00=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus X Extended Base/Panel_Fallback/AB_ECAML!ECAM_LowA320,0,0,340,340

Also DISABLED all those displays from VC.

I am trying now to do same for my A318/319 but I am getting a lot of issues.

This is how my panel.cfg on the A319 CFM looks like:

[Window06]
size_mm=750,400
window_size=1
position=8
Background_color=0,0,0
VISIBLE=0
ident=PFD

gauge00=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus A318_A319 Base/Panel_Fallback/Displays!PFD, 0,20,340,340
gauge01=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus A318_A319 Base/Panel_Fallback/ND/AB_ND_GDI!AB_ND_Gauge, 390,20,340,340

[Window07]
BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0
size_mm=340, 340
position=0
visible=0
ident=oac_ecam1

gauge00=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus A318_A319 Base/Panel_Fallback/Airbus_ECAMD2D!AB_ECAMU,0,0,340,340

[Window08]
BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0
size_mm=340, 340
position=0
visible=0
ident=oac_ecam2

gauge00=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus A318_A319 Base/Panel_Fallback/Airbus_ECAMD2D!AB_ECAML,0,0,340,340

Disabled all in VC

//gauge00=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus A318_A319 Base/Panel_Fallback/Airbus_ECAMD2D!AB_ECAML,346,344,340,340
//gauge00=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus A318_A319 Base/Panel_Fallback/AB_ECAML!ECAM_LowA321,346,344,340,340
//gauge01=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus A318_A319 Base/Panel_Fallback/Airbus_ECAMD2D!AB_ECAMU,0,344,340,340

//gauge38=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus A318_A319 Base/Panel_Fallback/Displays!PFD, 1,3,340,340
//gauge39=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus A318_A319 Base/Panel_Fallback/ND/AB_ND_GDI!AB_ND_Gauge, 344,5,340,340

Problem is that sometimes will crash my FSX and FATAL ERROR will came up and when it doesn't appear the error my frames will go from 25FPS to 7/8FPS if PDF and ND are open.

Any ideas/solutions will be much appreciate.

Thanks

gauge00=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus A318_A319 Base/Panel_Fallback/Displays!PFD,   1,30,340,340
gauge01=../SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Airbus A318_A319 Base/Panel_Fallback/ND/AB_ND_GDI!AB_ND_Gauge, 400,30,340,340

[Window08]
size_mm=900, 1210
window_size=1
position=8
BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0
VISIBLE=0

Hey Michel!

How do you fix those displays into their position? I mean how do you make FSX set those displays to their place in your frame? I guess you use a second monitor for the PFD, ND and ECAMs. But regardless for being in windowed or full screen, FSX always puts instrument views onto the main screen (where you can see the outside environment) as a not movable display. You have to undock it (so you have to be in windowed mode) and drag it to its final position. That's how I do. How do you do? Am I wrong, or am I missing of some experience? :)

Thanks for your help!

Regards,

Adam

Hi thanks for your answers.

I am doing same as you but I am getting fatal crash with the ND when I have any information on VOR

I need to switch that option off and then it works fine. Otherwise will kill my fps going down to 0.5fps and then I got a fatal error.

It has been a nightmare to get all this working fine for me lol

Same here!

Try commenting out only the ND gauge, that is the no.1 FPS killer. Your fatal errors will have to be gone. If your FPS drops down to 0.5 close the undocked ND window then open it again, then you'll have your original FPS again.
