X Plane 10 Causing Computer To Crash

Recommended Posts

Well sir ... I just got X Plane 10 this week and after installing I've been having problems with it locking up some time like 60% of the time when I start it. Once it does crash the whole system locks up and I have to hit the reset button. I checked my GPU driver and it did need to be updated and I did so. However even after doing that it still crash when I try to start it, or when I'm in the rendering option and ask it to go full screen. This started right out of the box. It is the only app that is causing my computer to locks up. I have X Plane installed on a separate partition. I have attached the log. Thank you for reading my post.

Hello,

the Log.txt is not the complete Log.txt ...

You shall delete the Log.txt.

Than start X-Plane 10. and than close it with the menu (File - Close). So X-Plane 10 can write the whole Log.txt.

These new Log.txt send as an attachement please.

But what you can do is to reset the preferences:

Hello,

the Log.txt seems to be ok...

Do you have reset the preferences?

And after that set the rendering options carefully step by step.
