Wing Lights (Made some for you)

Recommended Posts

Hey Simmers,

Made some wing lights, I think it has really good realistic placement and also included the fuselage actual light bulb that emits the light.

Check out this video. If you like the wing lights, I have the placements and the attachment below. Stick the Airbus_Wing.fx into your effects folder, the inspection light is a default light already in there. Then insert these lines into your respective aircraft.cfgs
If I get good feedback I'll work on an A321 version, should take all of about 20 minutes.

*Also*: There's nothing I can do about the engine looking somewhat flushed, it's the way the alphas work, I've tried some modifications but no luck.
If anyone has any suggestions feel free to post!

It would be nice if this feature and proper landing lights could be included in the SP3. The aircraft looks very dull at night with now lights reflecting on the fuselage.

just keep the light.0 = 10, 37.50, 0.00, -0.50, fx_airbusx_vclight , as default. I had same problem and figured it out

yes i've tried that and it works fine now, thanks

Having a small issue where the light bleeds through the wall and illuminates the VC a bit... seems to have a slight impact on FPS. Prepar3d 2.5 here! great visual though!

I never understood why all the lighting switches were modeled but they don't work and by "they" I mean the Wing light switch. Also, it would have been nice if the landing lights had a reflection on the fuselage.
