I hope everyone had a great Christmas, here's a little something someone had requested (attachment). I'm going to release this bird with TOPGUN "PowderPuff" 34. From here on out, I'm going to start alternating. I'll be doing a Fleet Bird followed by a Camo and/or Test/Eval aircraft, and so on. Expect the NFWS 34 within the next couple days, as I've found a couple of things I need to fix before I feel its release quality, even then I'm abit hesitant, as I haven't done many camo aircraft. Ah well, get better with more experience,right? A photo of the VX-4 bird is attached, along with pics of what I'm going to be working on next. VF-24 is particularly handy since it was one of the primary squadrons for the Kitty Hawk through the 1980s. The one challenge for VF-103 is getting the F-14A cockpit to work with the F-14B flight model (the VF-103 paint scheme predates the updated HUD by about 10 years). Though should be doable. I did manage to get the F-14A HUD to project onto the F-14B cockpit, don't know how to do more. Also, you should check out some of the work by Hanimichal and DagR, they have nailed the fleet TPS tomcat look. Looking forward to these and I really like your VF-84 repaint.
