Cyberstudio 41
Hi guys I cant make the rudder to work. During the checklist im asked to move the rudder left and right, but i cant. I skiped the item and continued with my flight, but after i landed i wasnt able to turn the aircraft to enter the taxiway. Im using a logitech attack 3 as a joystick, with mouse and keyboard. Attached you can see my rudder key asignments
AF330 6
You don't generally use rudder to taxi... let's wait from the designers...
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted October 21, 2014 Aerosoft Share Posted October 21, 2014 But you seem to have non repeating buttons assigned to rudder. I doubt that that will work. You will need to have an axis (so a slider or rotating button). Otherwise just use auto rudder.
Cyberstudio 41
Hi Mathijs, thanks for your answer Isnt it possible to use buttons for that? Or maybe create some sort of "Virtual" axis where i can push buttons to increase or decrease the value of the axis?
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted October 21, 2014 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted October 21, 2014 Sorry no, you need an axis.
bradley27 26
In a related question in the FSX realism section i select to have Auto Rudder enabled, so i boot up and taxi with full nose wheel steering no problem, i then land at wherever it might be and i have no steering on the ground? Why might that be?
