I can tell you we got no X-plane plans right now. The market is just to small and we'll never get the boxed products in shops that we need to make money. I love X-plane and consider Austin Meyer a friend, but he first needs to sell a lot more copies before we will move to that platform. I know chicken/egg, but when the eggs costs a lot of money you got to consiuder long hard.

Talking X-plane.. check out Austin and his Segway at http://www.x-plane.com/segway.html... he is funny, if you ever get the chance to see his do a presentation do not miss it!

At the moment FS9 is for me the best choice, so its no problem for me

and i would not be able to understand it, if aerosoft would switch to x-plane.

But i still hope that Microsoft increases the performance of FSX and i really hope that they release it not too early.

Well, X-Plane does need very strong hardware to run with full detail (there are literally thousands of objects when you crank all the sliders to the right).

And I am really considering getting Global Scenery, I hesitated at first but the texturing is really neat.

Think Microsoft has understand, that they must do something to optimise the performance of the FSX, think, we see it in Paderborn... 21.10.06.

ok. thanks for Your statement Mathjis, think, the fact are clear enough. Economics are not the same like wishes... sometime...
