REQUEST - About Updates news and Hotfixes

please are you so kind to do a new post for every new fix and not edit the existing one.

By editing the existing we will NOT be able to receive email notification instantly. I know we can follow the existing topic but because members cannot post there, sometimes or even always none do a topic subscription.

new fix released, posted at the same post by editing the existing one and for this reason none is receiving email notification.

It could be considered to edit all news into the opening post AND add a "bump" post to the topic for notifications.

Again the same yesterday, are we supposed to NOT notified!?

Why not just check the hotfix tread everyday, simple.

Of course that could be done, but actually I have to second Chrisophers request.

The forum has two very powerful features: the recent topics list and the notifications.

Both features are sort of disabled for the hotfix topic due to the fact that the one post is just be edited every time.

So what works for ALL other topics and posts in the forum does not work for actually a very important topic. That doesn't make sense to me at all. And I really don't see any good reason why a new hotfix will not be posted as a new topic. The previous hotfix topic can then easily be made invisible. That's not much more work than editing the existing post all the time.

The visible outcome in the forum section is the same, but the hotfixes would be included in the recent topics list and the notifications!

I'll sort something out for that.
