LFPG 0
Can we do automated approaches with VOR or RNAV approaches? If no, why? Thanks
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted September 10, 2014 Aerosoft Share Posted September 10, 2014 Of course there are VOR and RNAV procedures, but if they can be flown automatically depends on the aircraft systems. I am sorry LFPG but your questions seem to suggest a basic lack of understanding about these systems. I really advise you to spend some time reading up on the capabilities of aircraft navigation and auto pilot systems.
LFPG 0
Yes of course! But I made a mistake in my question: Can we do automatic landings with VOR or RNAV approaches (of course for airbus)? Like with an ILS.... If not why? Because maybe we are too far or too high for the system? Thanks
Emi 5161
Please, we are not a flight school. We are a commercial company doing support for their products here, but we have to expect our customers to have a certain basic knowledge of flying, just as a real aircraft manufacturer would do. If you need help learning to fly please go over to such forums such as the AVSIM forums.
