Mladen 55 Posted February 16, 2014 Share Posted February 16, 2014 Hello! Since the release of AXE I observed irregularity in display of Speed Trend Arrow in some situations. Example: Cruising at FL270, IAS 310kts. At waypoint XXX the route direction changes by 45 degrees. During turn, IAS gradually drops to 300kts, but Speed Trend Arrow throughout the turn shows acceleration! Finally, I realized that the Speed Trend Arrow display is not based on changes of Indicated Air Speed, but is based on changes of Ground Speed! Not a big deal, but does not seem to be correct. From my personal experience I can say that I have seen this with other aircraft too when the weather engine made changes at the winds while FSUIPC wind smoothing was on or while the aircraft was accelerating/decellerating.
