Menno 0
Hi, Why can't I plan a route from Yangon VYYY to anywhere? It is not a problem to start from any other airport in Myanmar so it does not have to do with restrictions..... The other way round appears to run into the same problems, no routing into VYYY. Menno 0
Hmm strange, VYYY- EGLL, it appears to search for a route but ends up with none (just like all others routes) and it crashes when I try to find a return flight EGLL - VYYY. All others routes are no problem. What can it be that PFPX is not finding in my application? I have the latest AIRAC. alpha117 51
Just a shot in the dark here, but I'm using NavDataPro and not Navigraph data. Clive

alpha117 51
What happens if you copy and paste my route into PFPX and then hit 'build'? Does that work? Menno 0
Hi Clive, thanks for helping me out here. Initially it finds multiple waypoints called 'TP', so I select the correct one and then it builds the route with a detour to Africa.... (screenshot attached) I use the general NaviGraph data, not the pro. Menno
srcooke 422
Hello Menno, I have tried to build various routes too/from VYYY without success. I also use Navigraph data out of preference, NavdataPro been the Aerosoft offering. Suggest raising this issue on a support ticket.

srcooke 422
Menno, By defining a departure/arrival point I can resolve the problem: for VYYY - EGLL for instance enter BGO AUTO in the route box and select build. the same for EGLL - VYYY enter AUTO BGO DCT Please note I have used BGO only as an example. Once you find a suitable exit/entry point you can set these in the airport editor and the AUTO route feature will then be fully functional: As NEITHER data provider covers all airports I suspect in this case NavdataPro has the airport procedures attached. alpha117 51
Just to check, if you use Navigraph and have the PMDG then if you go into fsx >PMDG >SIDSTAR and see if you have VYYY.txt Clive
alpha117 51
Its just an easy place to check, doesn't mean that Navigraph data for PFPX has the same file, which you can't check as its in a strange file format!
CaptainTim 11
Jeppesen shows no departure precoedures. Only a straight in approach for either runway via HGU for 21 or MDS for
srcooke 422
In PMDG data there are Approach transitions Clive from HGU and YGN. There are no STAR's at VYYY only arrival routes which FR 1 -5 which are available in NavdataPro by your routing above, BUT which PFPX is using for departure As there are no SID's/Departures available for VYYY the suggestion above overcomes the issue, for NavdataPro users also

Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted February 10, 2014 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted February 10, 2014 There are no SIDs at VYYY as all departures are VECTOR by ATC.
srcooke 422
Hello Otto, The routes built above are using FR2 which is an arrival route. The only way around the problem is to define an exit point such as BGO. As Navigraph does not contain the arrival routes then using the FR entry point allows inbound planning. Menno 0
Again, works fine here. And just to make sure: in the Route windows you selected "Find..." from the dropdown list, showing "none" in your screenshot: pfpx_vyyy.jpg That's right, it remained blank..... Thanks all for helping me out here to understand the problem. I guess Steve has the solution to enter an entry point. Menno
alpha117 51
Yep its use Steve's fix or move across to NavDataPro or let someone on the Navigraph Forums know of the issue Clive
srcooke 422
A better option for the departures is to create sub-routes such as VYYY - BGO, VYYY - PTN, VYYY- MM etc. Now PFPX is able to automatically find routes based on those departures.
