GTX 760 Phantom good enough for X-Plane 10

Recommended Posts

Hey guys...

a while ago i have started to try X-Plane 10 and had less FPS... thats why i stopped playing it and i didnt want to play on low settings...

Currently i have a Radeon 6850 with 1GB...

Now i decided to buy a new GPU and there is the GTX 760 Phantom with 4GB Vram...

Is it good enough for higher settings in X-Plane like HDR and Anti Alisaing and so on or is there a better alternative which isnt that overpriced...

And is my Power supply good enough for that GPU ?

My Current set up:

WIN 7

Gigabyte H77 - D3H

Intel i5 3470

8GB DDR3 Corsair

Radeon 6850

be quiet E7 450W

Thanks in advance

Do you have HDR rendering on with the 670? and if so are these the frame rates with it on or off. I have the 660 superclocked 3gb card and frame rate is dramatically reduced

Yes you loose about 25% of fps if you activate that.
