gbinozland 0
I'm using the Bronco with three monitors running nVidia surround. Problem is that shift+2 brings up the check list super big and spread across all three monitors. Usually the Windows mouse busy circle then starts up and my frame rates slow to a crawl. I would assume anyone else using Surround or Eyefinity would be having the same problem. Anyone have a modified panel.cfg to reduce the check list size and confine it to one monitor? I'm running at 6040x1200 resolution. Thanks, gb.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted January 28, 2014 Aerosoft Share Posted January 28, 2014 We have asked nVidia a few times for support on these issues but they never replied. For now I think this is an issue that will not be solvable.

I'm no programmer but my understanding is that if the pop-up panel is sized to fit on one monitor only there is usually no further problem. I had the same trouble with Orbx's Vans RV4. The developer gave me new numbers to enter in the RV4 panel.cfg file "window_size=" entry. This was the original entry RV4: [Window00] ident=10 Background_color=0,0,0 visible=0 window_size= 0.441, 0.449 size_mm=1024,1024 position=2 night=255,255,255 and this is the new RV4 entry that works with NV Surround: [Window00] ident=10 Background_color=0,0,0 visible=0 window_size= 0.143, 0.449 size_mm=1024,1024 position=2 night=255,255,255 This is the Bronco panel.cfg checklist format: [Window01] size_mm=919,645 windowsize_ratio=0.55 window_pos= 0.05,0.05 BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0 VISIBLE=1 ident=12345 I've briefly tried altering the Bronco numbers but the format is different and I cannot get it to re-size. Surely it is possible to change the Bronco's panel size? gb.
Finn 873
You can try the VAN RV4 format for the Bronco like: [Window01] size_mm=919,645 window_pos= 0.05,0.05 window_size= 0.200, 0.200 Background_color=0,0,0 visible=1 ident=12345 Try changing the two values for windowsize until it fits in size and aspect ratio. Finn Thanks a lot Finn that worked great. No busy cursor or drop in frame rate. window_size= 0.150, 0.400 works well on my screen. Maybe this should be the standard format for panel.cfg these days?? gb.
