Patrizio 1
Hi at this moment (11:49Z) i'm trying to plan a flight from LFPG to KJFK, but the fp not follow the actual real tracks (see the jpg). My route preferences are all rights. Please, help me! I bought this program to perform real flights! Thanks in advance Patrizio
srcooke 418
Hello Patrizio, There is no requirement to follow NAT as you'll see from posts elsewhere in the forum. PFPX is calculating the shortest route but if you wish you could use ' AUTO SUNOT AUTO ' to compute a plan using NAT-F in this case. Just use the NAT entry point of choice. Patrizio 1
Thnks Stefan! Ok about tracks, but PFPX create the shortest route even with strong headwind ?? Mah...
srcooke 418
Use 'advanced' find feature and select Wind Optimised Route.

Torben Andersen 15
Hi Patrizio Sound weird. I think you may have done something wrong. I get a wind optimized route following track E using Auto. See attached. Torben
Patrizio 1
Thanks Torben i tried few minutes ago, nothing...ignore tracks unchecked, wind opt checked, route planned out of tracks. Patrizio
srcooke 418
The wind optimised route will take you off the tracks this morning. Deselecting 'wind optimised' puts me on track Echo at this time.
bjratchf 4
I can't even get PFPX to load westbound tracks. The option is greyed out, and only eastbound tracks can be displayed
chkl 34
I can't even get PFPX to load westbound tracks. The option is greyed out, and only eastbound tracks can be displayed That's because NAT is only one way at a time. Right now traffic is coming from the west to east, America to Europe and they are all using NATS. In a few hours the NATS will change to be active from east to west when the bulk of traffic is going west bound from Europe to America. Right now if you are planning a route west bound you would want to select the wind optimized find route option.

srcooke 418
If you look at the Atlantic winds Clive you'll see it's not that strange, the number of available tracks will depend on the weather conditions.
