shanwick 3
Hi Let's say that my STAR has three waypoints - A, B and C. I instruct an aircraft to enter the holding pattern at A. After one complete circuit of the hold I descend the aircraft by 1,000 feet and vector it to B where it immediately enters the holding pattern without me asking it to do this. However, I don't want it to hold at B but there is no menu option to cancel the hold and the only way that I can get the aircraft to exit the hold is by vectoring it to C where it enters the holding pattern again Is there something I am not doing correctly or is the way that GATC works? I am using V1.1.05 Many thanks for any help. David
Martijn Coenen 9
If you do not clear an aircraft past B, it hasn't got "permission" to continue past that point so it will hold. You need to clear it to a next point or on a procedure. Say past point B you have procedure "BtoDviaC", you need to clear the plane to fly just that procedure: ABC1234 J BtoDviaC

Martijn Coenen 9
Welcome By the way, you can also do this with the mouse. Activate the procedure on the procedure tab, and point the airplane to the first waypoint.
