Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted January 18, 2014 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted January 18, 2014 I have some strange problem with validating my flight plans and haven't found a solution yet. Maybe I am just blind that I haven't read it somewhere in the manual or here in the forum... I wonder if any experienced PFPX user can help me on this (I am quite new to PFPX). If I plan an flight from EDDL to ENGM I end up in the validation window with this ATC flight plan: (FPL-DLH1234-IN -A320/M-/LB1 -EDDL1425 -N0449F370 MEVEL Y850 BASUM UM170 LBE UP615 ALASA M852 ALS Z731 SABAK L997 LUNIP -ENGM0127 ENTO -PBN/A1B1C1D1L1O1S1 NAV/RNVD1E2A1 DOF/140118 REG/DASAS EET/EDVV0012 EKDK0035 ESAA0056 ENOR0109 RVR/75 PER/C -E/0229) and get lots of syntax error messages when start the validation (see attached screenshot). After searching the forum I found this thread and saw that the ATC flight plan there looks a little bit different in the second row: -A320/M-SDE1FGHIJ1RWXYZ/LB1 When it take this now into my ATC flight plan, it gets validated 100% correct: (FPL-DLH1234-IN -A320/M-SDE1FGHIJ1RWXYZ/LB1 -EDDL1425 -N0449F370 MEVEL Y850 BASUM UM170 LBE UP615 ALASA M852 ALS Z731 SABAK L997 LUNIP -ENGM0127 ENTO -PBN/A1B1C1D1L1O1S1 NAV/RNVD1E2A1 DOF/140118 REG/DASAS EET/EDVV0012 EKDK0035 ESAA0056 ENOR0109 RVR/75 PER/C -E/0229) So my question now is, what am I doing wrong beforehand in flight planing so that PFPX does not put the "SDE1FGHIJ1RWXYZ" into the ATC flight plan? And what is this string telling me anyway? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Tom.
srcooke 422
Hello Tom, Edit the appropriate aircraft using the editor, Equipment/Configurations tab, and add the 'SDE1FGHIJ1RWXYZ' equipment ( if that is what's fitted ). Now PFPX will inject that entry to the ATC plan.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Tom. The string is a list of the equipment/capabilities of your aircraft. You can see the list here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equipment_codes or if you want to go to the source: http://www.google.dk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&sqi=2&ved=0CDIQFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.paris.icao.int%2Fdocuments_open_meetings%2Fdownload.php%3Fmaincategory%3D113%26subcategory%3D120%26file%3DAmendment%25201%2520Doc4444.EN.pdf&ei=paDbUsOIF-yZ4gSJ3oHwCw&usg=AFQjCNGBCRney_oz7nE44p856oF64hWjPg&bvm=bv.59568121,d.bGE Torben
