Trainzak 4 Posted January 7, 2014 Share Posted January 7, 2014 I'm really thinking of buying GATC, but I'm just curious if it's possible in the sim that airplane crashes into a mountain if you let him descend below terrain altitude. For example in Innsbruck (LOWI), you would really need to be careful not to vector arriving airplane to the mountains around... Martijn Coenen 9 Posted January 7, 2014 Share Posted January 7, 2014 I just managed to crash a 737 on a mountain (3000ft) by turning right after departure from LOWI straight into the nearby mountain, so yes, it's possible if that is what you like to do.
