Administrator Heinz Flichtbeil 1609 Posted December 26, 2013 Administrator Share Posted December 26, 2013 Hello Mike-G, for Vista i cannot say something. I don't have installed it here. But it is a good idea to update all drivers (Grafik is important). Your Java shall be actual and you C++ Runtimes too. http://java.com/en/ http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13523 But the best way is to run the CRJ-200 in 64bit Modus of X-Plane 10 under Win 7 or 8/8.1 (64bit). Therefore you shall update the CRJ to version 1.53. And be sure to activate the CRJ-200. The activation only works in 32bit mode of X-Plane 10. X-Plane 10 shall be updated to version 10.22 or 10.25. Mike-G 0
hi thanks for the quick reply the 64bit upgrade has been downloaded and installed after deleting the old install i fired it up and it seemed to work now althou i was late so never whent anyfurther thanchecking the buttons now activate and thescreens come alive will try again tomirrow as for the Vista 32bit system it had a complete factory reset and updated with microsoft update [took all day] also graphics card drivers were updated but at the moment it is just the same using the demo flight that comes in the box turn on batt switch / activate external power / put it online that all works but the glass panels stay off can even go through the rest of the proceedures and even get it in the air but no nave panels anyway like you say 64bit is the best option and with a little luck that is now working so thanks again Mike-G
Mike-G 0
Hi again well have it working both 32bit/64bit but only using the download from the site the instalation from the CD does not work in either modes I find this rather strange as it was bought only 3 weeks ago and the update has been around for some time can not understand how people expect loyalty when shipping outdate software known to have problems some people would not have the experience or knowhow to go through this update procedure and would therefore not only refuse to buy from the publishers again but also from the product producer (jRollons) and even worse they will recount their problems and frustrations to their friends so the loss of sales will esculate along this route i know that at the moment i would not buy from this source again ( mind you i did not buy this one, my wife did for xmas cos she see me looking at the addsin the mag several times) customers have the right to expect it to work straight out of the box I might add that i still have problems with the plane but at the moment not sure if its the plane/xplane/or my system so i reserve any comments here at the moment rgds Mike-G
