Please open in FSX Options/Settings/Sound and have a look into your sound settings. Try to "play" a little bit with the Windows Sound Devices. My settings are "Default Primary Device" and "Default Voice Device" and I never had problems like this....... but I know for others using different settings caused similar problems....
