Torontofsx 0
Hi Everyone I have been having some issues with Airbus Extended V1.5. Before Window 8's update, FSX would crash the moment I touched down. With the update, I lost joystick control, now it's FSX simply hangs with no action or warning messages. It happens before crzing alt is reached. It doesn't happen with any of my other payware addons. Thank you, any help with be appreciated. Warren >> FSX >> W8.1-64-bit. Mikii 19
Hi I'm experiencing CTD since today with the AXE and windows 8.1. It is the first time so I suspect the cause is the new beta soundpack from Mark42. Does someone have this installed to??

Torontofsx 0
OK, I installed AXE 1.16, it still crashes - I can't seem to copy and paste the events error page - do I require specific privileges to be able to do that? Thank you,
AnsonTz 9
I must say this is absolute intolerable for me to face the CTD issue caused by FMGS.dll everytime after landing and while exiting runway. I tried to re-land 4 times at the same airport as CTD makes my online flying record disappear! I am using windows 8.1 and airbus x extended v1.16 with latest hotfix and AIRAC navigraph 1311 fsx.exe 10.0.61637.0 46fadb14 FMGS.DLL 1.2.3.35 52684e5b c0000005 000790f4 10ec 01ced71bec8de166 C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aerosoft Airbus X Extended Base\Panel_Fallback\DLLs\FMGS.DLL 12c37077-431d-11e3-8256-6cf049e91855
Torontofsx 0
Where do you find the latest hotfix for AXE 1.6? What does it repair? Thank you.

Chris0410 3
Hey! Perhaps my Information will lead to some solution for you: I am using Windows 8.1 64bit, with FSX including acceleration pack in combination with AXE 1.16 In the moment I don't have a CTD problem. The only special change I made to the system long time ago is to use an alternative Version of the UIAutomationCore.dll. The DLL Version is 6.0.6001.18000
AnsonTz 9
I wonder if the navigraph1311 causes the ctd issue. When i chose to use navdatapro and update to the latest version. So far i havent faced the issue again.
Chris0410 3
In the moment. I am using NavDataPro, too, but the 1310 cycle.
Mikii 19
Hi everybody. I did a clean install of FSX and I just installed the AXE v1.16. My operating system is Windows 8.1 64 bits. I am still experiencing those intolerable annoying CTD, particularly after 1h of game (it is oftenly on final or even at gate). Jude 190
1) does it happen all the time? 2) have you installed the uiautomationcore.dll file in the fs root folder? if yes, what version is the uiautomationcore.dll file? 3) did you set FSX to run as administrator in the properties menu? 4) Did you swtich off UAC via the registry? Hi Jude, 1) This happens almost each time I use the AXE (3 times out of 4). I did a 2 hours touch&go test flight at various default airports with default cessna with no problems. 2) Yes I have uiautomationcore.dll in FSX main folder. Version 6.0.6001.18000. 3) FSX runs as administrator, compatibility Windows 7. 4) UAC is on. I don't see why it is a problem with the AXE? Using UAC is very recomended. Hope it helps. Bye Why you run FSX in " Windows 7 compatibility mode " ? I use FSX with Windows 8 and I don't have any problem.... Try to remove " Windows 7 compatibility mode " ! Jude 190
UAC is only really for networked machines, no value on a single desktop PC My FSX is not set to any compatibility mode, only admin permissions.
marjmithib 4
Mikii What is your graphic card ? NVIDIA or ATI ? I had the same problem with ATI HD5800 and the driver 13.9 or 13.11 Use catalyst 13.4 can solved your problem !
Mikii 19
Ok, Will try first with no particular compatibility mode, Then with UAC disabled (still I don't understand why it may be related as I have never experienced issues in the past with UAC enabled). @marjmithib I am not concerned as I have an Nvidia (thx BTW). Thank you for your help I will report here if the error happens again. FINGER CROSSED
