AlexCohrs 0 Posted October 22, 2013 Share Posted October 22, 2013 Hi guys, I know it's my fault that I could not resist from upgrading Windows to 8.1 (before it was withdrawn by Microsoft), but well, now I have it on my small Asus eepC and need to cope with it. The Problem is that PFPX does not work anymore since I have upgraded to Win 8.1. Here are the specs and infos I can share: - I am running PFPX 1.10 on my Windows 8.1 system on an Asus eePC 1005PX. - Net 4.5.1 is installed - PFPX starts to start, gets to "Updating route cache for first time use" and then crashes with the typical "the application does not work anymore" Win message - I tried with a fresh PFPX installation - as adviced in another thread, I deleted the PFPX key in the registry Do you have any idea what I can do about this? AlexCohrs 0 Posted October 25, 2013 Author Share Posted October 25, 2013 If I may update this: Just read in the x-plane.org forums that Windows users have problems with OpenGL after the Win 8.1 update. Do you think this could also be an issue here? I could try to re-install the graphic drivers, although it is really difficult with this older type of Asus eePC computers.
