@Hauer,

When you flew to Victoria Falls, did you see the famous falls during your flight simming flight??

Regards,

Aharon

I was able to see the gorge / Zambezi river but not the actual falls. I was actually there in real life just before the country changed it's name from Rhodesia to Zimbabwe.

At the time you could see from many kilometers away the huge spray of the falls (including a rainbow). Over the years, that scene has totally disappeared probably due to climate change.

Perhaps an idea to explore using a small aircraft.

Cheers - Herman

Some screen captures of a short flight with an A319 of approximately 50 minutes from Abidjan, Ivory Coast to Accra, Ghana. A lot of greenery along the flightpath and rather densely populated in the coastal areas...

A short domestic flight today within Nigeria from the capital Abuja (DNAA) to Kano (DNKN) situated in the north of the country.

Daily flights of approximately 50 minute duration are normally performed by both Air Peace and Azman Air Service.

As their aircraft were being serviced, an Airbus A319 charter flight was arranged using the Zimbabwean low-cost carrier, fastjet...

Welcome on board!

Herman :)

I thought this was interesting. I combined "Better Lights" freeware with "Extended Night Lighting" freeware. The below screenshot was taken while approaching the 405 Freeway near the LAX airport.

Aerosoft Pro A319 - Hamburg Shopper (Germanwings)

Join me for a domestic "shopping" flight from Nuremburg (EDDN) to Hamburg (EDDH), Germany.

Flight time is 1 hour. The weather in Europe is currently heating up to tropical temperarture levels and haze levels are high.

Otherwise it's a very smooth flight all the way to our destination.

So fasten your seatbelt and let's go "shopping"!

Our flightplan

Pushback at Nuremburg Airport, Germany whilst both engines are spooling up...

We taxi away from the terminal area towards our assigned take-off runway 10 (100 degrees)

We initially climb to 7,000ft (FL70) as instructed by Air Traffic Control (ATC)

ATC instructs us to continue ascending to 20,000ft (FL200) and then on to our cruising altitude of 31,000ft (FL310)

Having reached our cruising altitude, it's time for coffee and a bit of "watchful" relaxation

A good time to call up a weather report for our destination (barometer, temperature & wind direction / speed)

Please login to display this image.

Before long we start our descent as instructed by ATC. Initially 24,000ft (FL240), then 16,000ft (FL160), 10,000ft (FL100), etc

Thank you Aerosoft, for the wonderful free DLC Paderborn/Lippstadt airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. I bought this airport way back in FSX, the German Airports 3 iirc, and it is wonderful to see this small airport back in MSFS 2020. Here are a few screenshots I'd like to share with others unedited shrunk from my original 3440x1440 res.

Emergency landing.
This is how it happens. Tested the new Thrustmaster Joystick today. It's unusual to use it so far, and when landing, I blew the wheels :)

This is the first time I see this :)
