Deputy Sheriffs Herman 1591 Posted October 5, 2013 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted October 5, 2013 Turn off DX10 preview if on. If it's already off, someone with a similar problem resoloved it here by re-installing the scenery. If you do a reinstall, remember the following (Good advice for any reinstallation, and the 4th through the last bullet is the way you should always install FSX add-ons): Delete the scenery only through the Windows Control Panel (if you find a dedicated unistall file, that's OK too, but many programs don't have them. Control Panel is always safe). Do a disk check (right click on the FSX drive, select properties, select tools, select check now). Reboot Windows. Turn off your antivirus. Reinstall as Administrator (right click on installation file, then choose "Run as administrator" with a left click). AFter the installation is complete, turn your antivirus back on. Open FSX and check the scenery to ensure the problem is resolved. Don't do a lot of flying yet and close FSX. Defrag your FSX drive, unless it's an SSD, which you should never defrag. Now go fly and enjoy the scenery.
