McFrosch 4
Hi, I recently purchased the Twin Otter Extended and after a bit of getting used to its flight dynamics I really love it! Now I wanted to install some new liveries. The livery managed only produced error messages so I installed them manually by copying the texture folder and then adding the text in the readme files to the aircraft.cfg. This worked fine for the wheels version, but it didn`t work with the tundra version and I don`t know why. My aircraft.cfg looks like this: [Fltsim.0] title=Aerosoft DHC-6 300 Tundra PAX sim=DHC-6.300.T model=3bladetundrapax panel= sound= texture=TFNLC kb_checklists= kb_reference= atc_id=TF-NLC atc_parking_types=RAMP ui_manufacturer="de Havilland Canada" ui_type="DHC-6-300 Tundra" ui_variation="Norlandair TF-NLC" ui_typerole="Twin Engine TurboProp" ui_createdby="Aerosoft" [Fltsim.1] title=Aerosoft DHC-6 300 Tundra CARGO sim=DHC-6.300.T model=3bladetundracrg panel= sound= texture=CGKCJ kb_checklists= kb_reference= atc_id=C-GKCJ atc_parking_types=RAMP ui_manufacturer="de Havilland Canada" ui_type="DHC-6-300 Tundra" ui_variation="Inuit Air C-GKCJ" ui_typerole="Twin Engine TurboProp" ui_createdby="Aerosoft" [Fltsim.2] title=Aerosoft DHC-6 300 Tundra Kenn Borek C-GKBO sim=DHC-6.300.T model=3bladetundracrg panel= sound= texture=CGKBO kb_checklists= kb_reference= atc_id=GKBO atc_parking_types=RAMP ui_manufacturer=de Havilland Canada ui_type=DHC-6-300 Wheels ui_variation="Kenn Borek Air C-GKBO Tundra" ui_typerole=Twin Engine TurboProp ui_createdby=Aerosoft [Fltsim.3] title=Aerosoft DHC-6 300 Tundra FA sim=DHC-6.300.T model=3bladetundracrg panel= sound= texture=CFASS kb_checklists= kb_reference= atc_id=FASS atc_parking_types=RAMP ui_manufacturer="de Havilland Canada" ui_type="DHC-6-300 Wheels" ui_variation="First Air 90s Tundra" ui_typerole="Twin Engine TurboProp" ui_createdby="Aerosoft" [General] atc_type = DeHavilland atc_model = DHC6 performance = category = airplane ..... Only the first two liveries (Norlandair and Inuit Air) that where delivered by Aerosoft show up in the aircraft selection screen, the others don`t. I did exactly the same thing with several liveries for the wheels version, and all the liveries show up in the Aircraft seletion screen without any problems. So it does seem to be a problem with the tundra version. Does anybody know what I could do? Thanks, Fabian EDIT: I just noticed that after manually adding the liveries, they now show up in the Aerosoft Livery Manager for the Twotter, but STILL not in the aircraft selection screen within Prepar3d. Emi 5161
Hello Fabian, first of all, are you sure that your liverys are compatible with the version of the aircraft you want to install them for?
Lawman 14
Looking at your config, the paints you added have the following line: ui_type="DHC-6-300 Wheels" Change "Wheels" into "Tundra". Other than that, I see nothing wrong in your config-file. Also make sure you have "Show all variations" checked at the bottom of the aircraft selection screen. But like Emi said, it could well be that those paints weren't made for the Tundra-version and the author has made a mistake in the config-file he provided.
