I note in the handbook, that you express concern about aircraft with the ability to fly high enough - especially to Everest base camp. Try the Nemeth EC120 - service ceiling is 19000 and something. Fly light and you can squeeze a bit higher. The Eurocopter EC 350 can even land on the peak - here's the article: http://www.nationalgeographic.com/adventur...er_everest.html I did try in the EC 135, but that lost its' breath... Yeah I tried the EC135 ... it's fun flying up there but at one point, I found myself looking up a mountain from the VC thinking ... DAMN!
