1. IRL the PTU is inhibited during the first engine start.

2. You definitely can't hear the PTU in the cockpit IRL.

My opinion is, no hear in cockpit, but if we're on wing view can hear

The parking brake and NWS towing position signals inhibits the PTU during the first engine start.

I believe that this was something which was done because many customers requested even though it's not realistic.

I will talk to the developers and ask if there may be something we can do, but as said, as far as I know this was done on purpose.

naaaaah, rather not. This would go beyond the scope of our price for the product.

Actually I just started another internal discussion about this, so we'll redescide whether to include this sound or not.

In the end there were maaaaaany people complaining about it missing during the previews (even though we told it's not there in the real one) of the original Airbus X which is why it was descided to include this.
