MichaelMoe 6
Hi, I was on a jumbseat this weekend in the MD82 and had the same flight prepared in PFPX to see the difference from real life and it was amazing how the PFPX calculated the winds wich was just spot on. The Cruise FL was wrong though because the weight was to high to allow the same FL as calculated in PFPX . So does PFPX not take this into calculation ? Max weight for a specific FL? Thanks Michael Moe
johnny_7713 6
Did the weights of the actual aircraft match the weights you had entered in PFPX?
FlightSimSoft.com 283
PFPX does take (among other parameters) take the weight into account. Sometimes, ATC restrictions or unfavirable winds do not allow flying near optimum altitude.
MichaelMoe 6
hmm might be something there i guess , The pilot had his weight limitation and i saw it so it could be Company SOP maybe ? . The weight was pretty much the same +-1000kg )FL340 and FL370) Michael Moe
