Hi Guys, I would really appreciate a little help on the following question:

The aircraft in use is a A321-231.

A sector is to be flown from A to B?

The distance between A and B is 657nm.

212 passengers on board - Aircraft is at maximum passengers it can carry.

The Alternate airport chosen is 300nm from B.

What is the maximum cargo payload that can be uplifted on a A321-231 aircraft from A to B?

Flightlevel?

Winds?

Taxi time?

Holding time?

Contingency fuel?

final reserve?

...

You know what I mean? Based on your information and not knowing other relevant numbers, the cargo load might be something between 5.000 and 10.000 kg.

Hi Mopperle,

I thank you very much for your quick response. This is based on a real life situation and the 2 airports are Colombo (Sri Lanka) and Gan (Maldives). My father and I are trying to use this in a costing. I will get back to you with the information in about 8 hours.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks again.

Hi Mopperle,

Flightlevel = FL350

Winds = ZERO

Taxi time = 15 MINUTES (7.5 MINUTES AT BOTH ENDS)

Holding time = 45 MINUTES

Contingency fuel = 60 MINUTES (CLOSEST ALTERNATE IS 300 Nm)

Final reserve= 105 MINUTES

The following site may be of assistance to you - http://planes.findthebest.com/l/231/Airbus-A321

Sorry, no suggestions for a real life situation. This is a flightsimulator forum. If you want valid, real world data ask a professional dispatcher.
