alpha117 51
Just thought that would have been a good idea? That way both programs have the same base aircraft data to start with. Unless someone knows different!
ESzczesniak 25
They require a different set of data and as such completely different profiles. I suspect many of the profiles will be added to TOPCAT, but just because the data exists (in the developers hands) for PFPX for an aircraft, doesn't mean it does for TOPCAT. ESzczesniak 25
I should also clarify that it's not merely a matter of existing data, but takes a fair bit of time to build the lookup tables and formula for TOPCAT. I suspect this is more the reason for the missing aircraft, as surely FlightSimSoft will be able to find data for aircraft like the 777. It will however take them time to make the profile. Adding new aircraft to TOPCAT was put on hold while developing PFPX. Hopefully as the bugs get worked out of PFPX in the coming couple weeks, work can slowly start on bringing TOPCAT a bit more up-to-date.
