Stratocruiser 3
Have just installed, uninstalled and reinstalled the Aerosoft Cape Canaveral download scenery from SimMarket but it keeps crashing when I either try to start a flight from Space Coast Regional (Titusville) airport or try to land there! Otherwise the simulation is EXCELLENT! Any tips on what to do?
Shaun Fletcher 570
Hello Stratocruiser, Can you try disabling any 3rd party scenery you have besides the Cape to check for compatibility issues. But before doing that can you try loading a flight there at midnight and see if it crashes.
Stratocruiser 3
Thanks fom the prompt reply Shaun, Have loaded a flight there at midnight and it does not crash! What does this suggest as to the cause of the problem? Kind regards Bill (Stratocruiser)
Shaun Fletcher 570
Hello Bill, This would suggest that the problem is caused by 3rd party textures. Have you installed any new textures that alter the default FS9 terrain textures.
Stratocruiser 3
Hi Shaun - Have installed FScene which I guess could interfere with it? Bill
Shaun Fletcher 570
Hello Bill, These textures are the cause of the problem, you may need to re-install the default textures and you may want to contact the developer of Fscene as to the problem.
