Something to play with (PT6-42 simulation)

Here is one of the sources we have used for simulating the PT6-27 and later -20 engine used in the Twin Otter.

Note that the simulation is for the PT6-42, so figures cannot be taken directly.

Also select "SELKIRK PROGRAMMING" and enable the condition levers and set them to Low idle (The Twin Otter only has the Low idle setting).

Other sources are offcourse performance charts from which we have derived figures for the impact on engine performance using inertial seperator and inlet de-icers as well as other items affecting the engines.
