Hello everyone,

I thought I'd give the Tundra model a whirl to an unimproved strip on a nearby island, so I used the FuelPlanner to fill the aircraft (within limits) and added some fuel to make it there and back and then some.

On getting airborne, I found myself fighting the aircraft to keep the right wing up. I immediately thought it was related to my Saitek hardware or something I'd done in FSUIPC (I could write a book about the grief I've had) so I started poking around to see what was creating the problem. Trims were neutral, so if anything, I'd be yawing left slightly which would raise the right wing. The axes all centered properly (again, thanks to the grief experienced with the Saitek hardware) so I started looking at the aircraft itself, thinking perhaps something had been modelled for extra realism which I hadn't paid attention to.

I landed on the little island strip with considerable strain to my left arm (reminds me of a quirky Cherokee I flew during my PPL: 3 hours cross-country keeping the right wing from dropping due to some structural anomaly!). I inspected the aircraft visually, all seemed normal, no asymmetric flap issue, both wings of equal length and size, etc. There was no icing, confirmed by the checklist indicator and the hot and dry weather. The fore and aft fuel tanks had fuel, nothing in the wing tips.

So I emptied the aircraft using the FSX menu, leaving only crew and fuel. Eureka, she flies (level)! I opened the aircraft.cfg and found different entries for the normal and tundra models:

Normal:

The numbers in bold indicate that the passenger rows on the Tundra are all right of centre. If I fill the aircraft, I have 1680kg all on the right hand side of the aircraft, no wonder the aircraft was so keen to spiral dive (to the right) into the Atlantic!

Hi,

To Finn: If that's related to Mathijs HotFix001 posted upper in the pinned topics, it seems that's aircraft.cfg file of the tundra wasn't good and in the HotFix, it's the Wheel version. I've understood that way in the other topic, the one which raised the problem.

Perhaps I'm mistaken but because, in case of...; I don't want that you released a good file and forget to give correction to the bad one. But I repeat, I'm not sure (just making a diff between the HoFix and "mine" aircraft.cfg file (wheel version) didn't show any difference...). Strange isn't it? :glare_s:

Thank you in advance to confirm I'm wrong (or good!).

I have checked all the varioants including the beta Floater and al entries should have been corrected for the next update.
